God has set before our little family a two-fold assignment in Kansas City as we serve at the International House of Prayer.
1. To advance the global prayer movement.
Prayer works and when the Church prays God moves. Since the beginning, it has been Gods design to partner with his creation to do His will on the earth (Gen. 1:26, Matt. 6:9). We have a calling on our lives to extend God’s rulership on earth as his ambassadors. The more His people pray the more His will is implemented. Our particular role has been to extend IHOPKC’s outreach via it’s social media channels. Multiple times a day I get to send out updates to tens of thousands of people to inspire, equip, and inform them of up coming IHOPKC events.
2. Learn and embrace a Daniel lifestyle.
Amy and I know it is eminent to make a habit of prayer, fasting, studying the scriptures, and searching for wisdom as Daniel did in the Old Testament.
We are prayerfully studying to see how God’s Word applies to every aspect of our lives. While most consider spirituality as part of their lives, I consider my relationship with God as the center that gives direction and purpose to everything we do.
We want what God wants for every part of our lives. We want to love what He loves and hate what He hates.
