You were a lucky one. Even without clear goals I (now we) still found ourselves extremely blessed. In just a year Amy and I got married(!), moved to the great state of Texas, and both got jobs at Teen Mania Ministries as marketing project managers. It has been a beautiful season of transition… But it is only just the beginning. Amy and I have big dreams from the Dream King to do the Lou Engle thing and pray them into being. So it is my pleasure 2011 to set some Big Hairy Audacious Goals for this year:
Goal #1 – Read through the New Testament every month. Follow along on twitter #NEWx12
Goal #2 – 52 blog posts = 1 blog post a week.
Goal #3 – Amy and I want to run a race together. Still looking for a good one though. Any suggestions? (around 12ish miles)
Goal #4 – Fast at least every other week for starters.
Goal #5 – Start a business (LLC). A little freelance design, photography, online t-shirt store, and maybe even an Etsy store.
Goal #6 – Co-lead a Global Expedition mission trip in Mexico with Amy.
Goal #7 – Duplicating myself as a project manager in the marketing department.
Goal #8 – Exploring Gods creativity, but how do you measure that right? It is simple, but not necessarily easy. Prayer, lots of prayer and fasting. Daily asking for revelation and searching it out in Gods word.
The most difficult part of these goals is consistency. To forget them or ignore them is what separates success from failure.
Ok God, those are the dreams we believe you put in us to go after this year. Give us the grace to stay faithful to them and to pray with Ephesians 3:20 in mind.
